Mission Statement

At the Wellness Center, we take great pride in our high quality, hard-working, and, exceptionally clean, facility**!2, 13 Our goal’s1 are to provide the student body** with the resources they require to succeed with their arts and giving everyone a boot in order to heal.11

"Docs"

Each and every one** of our exceptionally prestigious** “docs”14 with high qualifications;4 are very hard workers but they are here to keep you healthy.4 Their hunt for illnesses is a wild goose chase, though not counting their eggs before they hatch, they are cautious and feel the water before they jump in.10, 12 They act carefully and with diligence. They are also very respectful at all times making sure that** your visit at the Wellness Center is a happy one.

Athletic Trainers

Many of the students come to the athletic trainer with injuries that effect** their art performance. The athletic trainers will try to do everything they can to help the student get better as quickly as possible. There are many wonderful features in the Athletic Training room, including: an ice bath, hand wax, hot rock heat packs, many therapeutic tools, etc.** Students, especially the dancers6. Love to come and get their feet icebathed**.

Nutritionist

If we feel that a student needs to speak to a professional about their eating habits (or lack of eating habits,)15 we advise them to come to our well-qualified Nutritionist. When a student goes to the Nutritionist, they may be told to eat more or fewer** food by her7. These meetings may aggravate** a student at first, but they will prove alright**. “My friend Julia goes to the Nutritionist and loves it”,3, 16 says an anonymous student.

Counseling

The counseling service is always available to the students,5 the issues that are spoken among** the counselor and the student are kept in the room. When problems are happening to the students, the counselor’s door is always open. The moods are always better of the students after they leave the counseling office. 8 There is no problem not big enough to contact** the counseling service. 9
